Frequently asked questions

What can I expect from therapy?

We'll start with an intake session, where I'll learn more about why you're seeking therapy, gather medical and family history, and explore your therapeutic goals.

The following sessions will be focused on what feels most supportive and present for you.

Can we still meet if I am not located in California?

My licensure is specific to California, so you must be physically located in California during our teletherapy sessions in order to seek ongoing treatment with me.

Do you accept insurance?

I do not accept insurance, however, if your provider offers reimbursement for out-of-network services, I can provide you with a superbill. I suggest contacting your insurance provider beforehand to confirm coverage for reimbursements.

How much does it cost?

My fee is $150 per session, pro-rated for extended sessions (75-min), typically for couples therapy.

I reserve a handful of sliding scale spots, set based on financial circumstances, which can be discussed in the initial consultation.

What is your cancelation policy?

You may cancel appointments in advance, without charge, up to 24 hours before your appointment by notifying me via text or email before the time of your scheduled appointment.

Any appointments cancelled within 24 hours of your appointment time will result in being charged the full fee.

Do you offer in-person therapy?

I provide in-person and virtual therapy for California residents through the Marina Counseling Center, located at 1781 Union St, San Francisco, CA 94123
